Higgins Coatings has an online project management system called HOW (Higgins Operational Way). HOW is a paperless, tablet-based system directly linked to our Integrated Management System. The portal provides remote access to important WHS&E documentation, training and records, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Worksite Risk Assessments and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). It also provides mobile, centralised risk management and incident reporting, defect tracking, a simplified project completion process and more efficient on-site project management overall.

Our IMS has enabled us to achieve an industry-leading ISO tri-certification based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

All Higgins Coatings tradespersons have Working with Children and Police Checks, as well as digital Higgins IDs. These will be presented prior to starting work on your commercial painting project.

Higgins guarantees the provision of quality workmanship and products in accordance with:

a. the relevant jurisdictions’ “Guide to Standards and Tolerances” in effect at the time of acceptance; and,

b. any relevant Australian Standards.

If after hours work is required to ensure minimal disruption to your building occupants, your project manager will discuss and schedule where feasible.

We can assign more contractors to your job to ensure we complete your project. After-hours work can also be arranged to help accommodate tight timeframes.

At Higgins, we plan our work schedule around your facility’s operations and can minimise disruption through staged repaints, after-hours work and flexible working schedules (FWSs).

Maintenance plans are better for your paintwork and bottom line. Instead of undertaking a large painting project every 5-10 years when your paintwork has degraded, a maintenance plan allows you to catch issues early and keep your surfaces in good condition from year to year with building washes and sectional repaints for high-traffic areas. This protects your initial painting investment for longer, reduces the need for and disruption of major maintenance projects, and saves you time and money in the long term. In fact, the ROI of preventive maintenance can be as high as 400%!

We create a long-term structured painting plan. This plan is tailored to your unique needs but will often include a full repaint and annual maintenance painting services.
