The committee at the popular accommodation venue realised that the property's external paintwork was in dire need of an upgrade.

Our Canberra painting experts know that attending to the committee's needs requires attention to detail. During multiple site assessments, various areas were inspected, uncovering underlying issues to the coatings due to age and water ingress. The Facilities Manager was informed that these issues had to be addressed before completing the repaint. With this, the property's externals needed an overhaul to produce a new look. Updating the externals' colours required careful planning and consideration.
The customer wanted a tailored painting solution delivered all while keeping the facility operational. We devised a suitable schedule according to apartment vacancy to reduce disruption to occupants.
After the Facilities Manager had identified the need for a colour change, we leveraged a colour consultant who advised that a lighter colour scheme would drastically improve the aesthetics of the complex. Given the paint specification, this would also boost the durability of each surface. This formed the repaint component of our maintenance offering. The customer can rest assured that the facilities will remain in optimal condition long-term.
When it came to the works schedule, our biggest priority was to make sure the facilities remained operational throughout. We worked with the Facilities Manager to enable door repaints as units became vacant and as bookings allowed.
Our experts rectified water ingress issues by stripping old coatings during the preparation phase. Using Dulux paints, our specialists applied the new coatings to all substrates by using a variety of access equipment including boom lifts and scissor lifts, while footpaths and walkways were secured by foot traffic management. Our team’s ability to manage all components of a painting project were on display throughout the repaint.
The repaint component of the apartments ongoing maintenance plan saw a departure from the once gloomy facade that has since been transformed to take on a brighter look. Our team are looking forward to revisiting Manuka Park Apartments in the coming years.
