The facility’s body corporate committee engaged our Canberra team to help restore life into the external substrates of the buildings with a repaint.
The facilities were presenting poorly and in need of some tender-love-and-care. The brick render had held its condition quite well, although due to its age, it was difficult to identify the original colour. Each of the units’ garages featured fascia and bard boards that were badly water damaged.
The executive chairman of the strata wanted to develop a trusting relationship with the painting contractor they selected, given the likely investment to be made on the repaint.
Our Sales team attended the site on multiple occasions and provided the executive chairman with a detailed walkthrough of the project’s salient details. In doing so, we created a sense of trust with the strata’s representatives, and after completing a prototype that satisfied all parties, were asked to provide the full external repaint.
We worked closely on colour matching and after providing several options, determined we would deliver the repaint utilising several Haymes products. Our operations plan focused on providing safe access to all areas, while mitigating disruption for tenants. Elevated-Work-Platforms were used and moved at the conclusion of works each day to enable pedestrians to continue accessing the parking lot uninterrupted.
After four weeks on-site our team of four operatives have completed the repaint. The customer and tenants alike have been thrilled with the final product.
